Megan Marcelle Sàrl reserves the right to decline a proposed replacement guest where, in our reasonable opinion, the retreat may not be suitable for that person or accepting the transfer could affect the safety, wellbeing or experience of the retreat group.

A transfer is only confirmed once Megan Marcelle Sàrl has provided written approval.

A booking cannot be transferred to another retreat or another retreat date.

Any additional costs arising from the transfer, including reasonable administration costs or costs charged by accommodation providers, transport providers or other suppliers, may be payable by the original guest or replacement guest.

Megan Marcelle Sàrl reserves the right to cancel a retreat where this is necessary due to circumstances including insufficient bookings, venue issues, significant operational difficulties or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If we cancel a retreat, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the options available to you.

Where appropriate, we may offer an alternative retreat date, transfer to another retreat or a refund of payments made directly to Megan Marcelle Sàrl for the cancelled retreat.

We cannot be responsible for additional costs you have incurred independently, including flights, accommodation booked separately, travel expenses or other personal costs.

8. Changes to the Retreat Programme

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the retreat programme where necessary.

Megan Marcelle Sàrl reserves the right to ask a guest not to participate in a particular activity where we reasonably believe participation could present a risk to their safety or the safety of others.

12. Personal Responsibility

Guests are responsible for making informed decisions about their participation in retreat activities.

Yoga, movement, breathwork, meditation and other wellbeing practices can affect people differently. Guests should always work within their own abilities and communicate with the teacher if they have concerns or require modifications.

If you feel unwell, uncomfortable or unable to participate safely, you should stop the activity and inform the retreat team.

13. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests have appropriate travel insurance for the duration of their retreat.

Where appropriate, your insurance should cover cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, personal belongings, travel disruption and other relevant circumstances.

Megan Marcelle Sàrl cannot accept responsibility for losses that could reasonably have been covered by appropriate insurance.

14. Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the retreat.

We want our retreats to be welcoming, inclusive and respectful spaces for everyone.

Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, teachers, staff, local communities, accommodation providers and suppliers.

Megan Marcelle Sàrl cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury, illness, damage or expense arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, or from the actions or omissions of independent third party suppliers, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Guests are responsible for following reasonable instructions given by Megan Marcelle Sàrl, retreat teachers, accommodation providers and other relevant suppliers during the retreat.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

17. Force Majeure

Megan Marcelle Sàrl will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing the retreat where this results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

This may include natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, epidemics, government restrictions, political instability, strikes, transport disruption, war, civil unrest, venue closure or other circumstances that make it impossible or unsafe to operate the retreat as planned.

Where such circumstances occur, we will communicate with guests as soon as reasonably possible and consider appropriate alternatives depending on the circumstances.

18. Complaints

If you have a concern during the retreat, please raise it with Megan Marcelle Sàrl or a member of the retreat team as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to address concerns while the retreat is taking place.

If you wish to make a complaint after the retreat, please contact us in writing as soon as reasonably possible and provide details of the issue so that we have an opportunity to investigate and respond.
